Italian MOMO Buggy

Of all the Kyote clones I have seen this example of the Italian Momo buggy has to be the closest thing to the Dean Jeffries Mantaray II Kyote ever cast in fibreglass. According to James Hale, the original design utilized Citroen 2CV pod-lights {similar to Manx style headlights} mounted on the fenders ahead of where they should be.  I totally agree with him  when he stated in his article in the January 2002 TOTAL VW magazine "Just one look at the Momo brochure is enough to make you realize that this was a great way to ruin an otherwise perfectly balanced design".  Fortunately for us Serge did the only decent thing and installed the proper type of front end lighting. This one change and the excellent work put into this car has resulted in an outstanding example of a fine looking buggy.
