Here we have a prime example of a 1964 Short Wheel Base GP MK1 buggy.
Motive force comes from a lightened and
balanced 1641cc engine with polished & ported heads. Twin 34 pict
carbs feed this fire breather while an external oil cooler controls the
heat. Power is delivered to the ground via a 6v gear box with 200m
fly wheel & a heavy-duty spring
clutch. Front 205-60 and rear 31-10.5-75 tires keep this
ride glued to the ground. A Bosch 009 distributor is in charge of delivering
spark while stainless braided fuel & oil pipes carry the fluids.
